Writing this from my couch at home, hoping to find you safe and well at yours. It’s been a busy summer for us at Order! How’s it going with the new tool? We’ve working on this release for the past week — so, we hope you’ll love it!
Text editors are one of those features where it’s important to get the experience just right. Over the past weeks, we’ve been making several small tweaks to Order editor based on your feedbacks. we added inline toolbar for connivence access to different block type, and markdown support is coming soon.
Keyboard shortcuts help
Keyboard shortcuts are frequently used and loved by our power users. They let you control all of the common functionality of Order and make the application a lot faster to use. To get more users using keyboard shortcuts, we’ve create a public page to share our keyboard shortcuts to all Order user.
Launcher is one of the core components of order, our goal is to help you capture information quickly without any friction. We just enabled a way for you to change the hotkey to pull up the launcher base on your workflow. You can change the launcher hotkey in setting tab now.
New command menu
The command menu is one of the core components of Order and lets you execute any command with just a few keystrokes. We just made it easier to switch between command menu. simply press ⌘ + P to open quick page search and type > to quickly switch between command bar and quick page search.
Finally some tips on how to use Order’s launcher
we’re showing you how to use Order Launcher to capture any information from anywhere on your computer and even while you’re viewing another application. select any text from any application and open Order launcher with Ctrl + SPACE to capture it, order capture any text with their format.
From launcher, you’ll be able to also use reference page, reference cards or create new page with inline command [[.
Once you done press Enter to save your information to Order. It’ll appear in the page you saved the next time you visit the app.
